We are looking for a Senior Tester with at least 4 years of experience to join our 4-month software development project. The ideal candidate will work closely with the development and product teams to ensure product quality throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibility:
- Analyze project requirements and create/maintain test plans, test cases, and test reports
- Execute manual testing and/or automation testing for web, mobile, and API (depending on project)
- Log and track defects; collaborate closely with developers and other stakeholders to resolve issues
- Perform various types of testing: functional, integration, regression, and UAT
- Contribute to quality assurance process improvements
- Provide support and guidance to junior testers when needed
Requirements:
- At least 4 years of experience in software testing
- Proficient in writing test cases, test plans, and detailed bug reports
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
- Solid knowledge of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Redmine)
- Good communication skills and strong teamwork
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and responsible
Nice to Have:
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Katalon, Postman, JMeter)
- Ability to analyze business logic and assess potential risks
- Experience in mentoring or onboarding junior testers
