As a Strategic Managing Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our consulting business within your designated market territory. Acting as a Partner in the firm, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new clients, managing the delivery of consulting services, and nurturing long-term client relationships. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping the market strategy and ensuring the successful execution of projects, ultimately contributing to the firm’s reputation and growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Business Development & Client Acquisition
    • Identify, pursue, and secure new clients within the specified market territory (e.g., Singapore, United States).
    • Develop and implement strategies for market penetration and client acquisition.
    • Build and maintain a strong network of industry contacts and leverage relationships to generate business opportunities.
    • Lead proposal development and contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with client needs and firm capabilities.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services to existing clients.
    • Provide strategic advice and insights to clients, positioning the firm as a trusted advisor.
  • Strategic Planning & Market Positioning:
    • Develop and execute market-specific strategies to achieve business objectives and growth targets.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to inform strategic decision-making.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to align market strategies with overall firm objectives and goals.
  • Delivery Management:
    • Oversee the successful delivery of consulting projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
    • Lead and manage project teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.

Requirement:

  • Experience:
    • Proven track record of success in a senior management or leadership role within a consulting firm or technology-software agency.
    • Extensive experience in business development, client relationship management, and project delivery.
    • Strong understanding of the specified market territory, including industry trends, key players, and business environment.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
    • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results under pressure.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Software, Technology or a related field. An advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is preferred.
